The Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) School of Continuing Education (SCE) was established in 1975 to provide a self-financing continuing education programme to promote a lifelong learning culture. In 2000, the International College (CIE) and the Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated Kindergarten were established.
To meet the community's demand for talent, the College has short-term, certificate, diploma, bachelor and postgraduate courses at the Kowloon Tong and Shek Mun campuses and four teaching centres. It also provides training to different public and private organisations and government departments. The working people have the latest knowledge and technology to enhance their competitiveness and further develop their careers. For full-time courses, the College offers a Diploma in Yi Jin, a Diploma in Basic Education, a Higher Diploma, a Bachelor's degree and a postgraduate course. Its International College offers associate degree and bachelor's degree programs. Some bachelor's and postgraduate courses are co-organized by the college and universities in the Mainland and overseas.
In addition, the College also manages the kindergartens affiliated to the Hong Kong Baptist University to provide a practical and theoretical teaching and research base for students studying early childhood education.
